I reckon you're right about a north future pick for Stephens.. Their 2 x end of 1st rounders basically need to be traded or the AFL is likely to take them back
Yep, its use them or lose them. Makes perfect sense to trade these this year and if we can get an end of 1st round for Stephens we'll take it.

Big chance. Might be OK if we're not in the race to trade up.
I don't think we are at this point. Our main goal is get the Grundy deal done and get mature players into the side. We've seen already in our deal with Hawks last year how future rounders can work for us.

I think the idea of gaining one of North's future first rounders that was granted by the AFL for Stephens a bit optimistic but I would be thrilled if we could pull it off.

To be honest, I just want all our trade business to be done with ASAP rather than drag on until the deadline.

When's Dusty coming again?

Would be good if our players stop bloody requesting trades to clubs that have top picks in the PSD.

Might need to send something back to even it out

Geelong (or Cotton On) built Hawkins house for him. Geelong (or Cotton On) paid the wives of these players to sip Gin & Tonics while pretending to work. Dangerfield has his nose in every bit of the AFL House handouts its a Joke!
Bummer these financial opportunities weren't available to other teams, especially the Swans.

Does 2nd in the Brownlow count? or is the A-grade stats reserved for Brownlow winners only?

Wow, I come back to this thread after a week or so and there’s [PLAYERCARD]Clayton Oliver[/PLAYERCARD] chat…

Seems ludicrous, but if there was any truth to it obviously you’d be open to trading anyone on our list bar Gulden to get it done. To say otherwise is insanely overrating our young players.

Not the most ludicrous thing to happen if it eventuated they were rumours of discontent months ago.

Sometimes relationships cant be mended.

Weeks of nonsense and 99% of trades are completed in the final minutes of the trade period.

I hope the Grundy trade is done quickly, just so both clubs can cross it off their to do lists and move onto other trades. There is no need for that trade to be left to the last minute.
