Hey guys, ladies, they/them,
Currently in Sumatra would love some idea of how my lad and I could watch - kayo and Foxtel can see my vpn so any other hint or advice would be much loved.

Rachelle, Rankine, Pedlar 2 goals a piece get on.

Not sure how to feel about this game.

After waiting six months and having bigman reporting each week (multiple reports) on training, and how well we were travelling, I was so disappointed with the lack of effort and application shown last week by the team. Yes, we didn't have Tex. Yes, RT was out injured. Yes, it was wet. Yes, GC played the week before. But, FFS, they stepped out as if they could just roll through the motions and get the W.

Dare I say it, they started to read their own press and thought it would just happen.

Fast forward to this week and I just don't know what to expect.

If Nicks is worth is 2 year extension he would address the sh1t that was dished up, take on the feedback from the media this week and the boys step out and bring the heat for tonight's game.

If so, I think we win easy at home as I don't think Geelong are that good. They beat St Kilda, but I wasn't overly impressed by the Saints last night.

Nervous is how I feel.

Nervous as to which team will step out from the first bounce.

Will it be the team that provides massive pressure and is willing put in the effort again and again? Or will it be the team that just thinks it is their time to play finals and will cruise again expecting it to happen?

My tip - Crows to come out breathing fire under the bright lights of Friday night footy with perfect conditions.

Crows by 38 points.

$89 for a reserved seat at the back of the riverbank stand. Are they seriously expecting non-members to attend with those prices?
That can't be real. Surely? Does the ticket come with beer and a meet and greet with the player of your choice?
That's outrageous.

Buy Crows Saver membership for $35. Allows you to buy up to 4 tickets a game at 30% discount, but you’re right, prices are nuts, no wonder they don’t sell out any more

I'm still so flat from Round 1 so I really do hope they put in a good performance tonight, it's the first home opener where I'm excited to go but I'm still questioning why do I spend all this money on season tickets, they say "there's nothing like being there" but I feel like since covid and the cost of living spiralling the couch looks pretty nice these days.

So I need the boys to kick me out of my funk!

Drinking helps.

Deadset, we are talking literally the back row here. I just had a look on the computer to see if the game was sold out or close to and there are plenty of seats available. I’m lucky I got a season ticket but I wouldn’t find any motivation to attend if I was a casual fan.

I'm in the 'casual fan' bucket as I can't justify the cost of membership for me and the three kids (and possibly wife). Especially when they each have sporting commitments across the weekend, and the wife works shift work, so I wouldn't actually get the chance to attend too many games.

We bought some GA tickets last year for the kids (approximately $100 for one adult and three kids, from memory) and we and sat on the hill (behind the goals) which was ok, but outside of the atmosphere, I prefer watching the game at home.

Unpopular opinion, I know, but I just don't see the value in going to the game on a casual basis.

Quick check on Ticketek and if I wanted to be a last minute attendee with my family, it would cost $280. That, in no way, is affordable. That's five cartons of beer....

I'll let it go after our next premiership and brownlow [emoji6]
Not me.
I'm taking my Dangerflop bitterness to the grave, as well as my loathing of PA, Richmond/Hardwick and the idiots who organised THE "Camp".

Everything else I can let go --- exes who cheated on me, mates who ripped me off, the unlicensed drunk who
T-boned me in an unlicensed sh1tbox, totalled my car, put me in Hospital and set me back about 5 years (he did slur an apology to me but whinged about losing his license while I was trapped in my wreck looking behind me without turning my neck).

Forgive Danger etc above? NEVER. I got my priorities straight. :winkv1:

Did that very thing for tix I get for our 3 girls. Well worth it.

Tonight's worked out to $139.95 from Ticketek at entertainment centre (student concession) - so $46 per ticket instead of $72 on Ticketek website.

Agency is tiny bit cheaper than online because of the Booking fee online and the website had sh!t itself when I was trying to get the tix last night so had to use the agency.

Does anyone else have to wrestle with the Ticketek website every ******* time??

I admire your decision to go, but I cannot afford it.

They announced new prices recently;
--- small cup of chips, $6.70 (in my experience tepid, soggy/limp)
--- soft drink, $6.80 (I think that's for 500mls, not sure, currently $1.90 for 1.25L @ Woollies)
--- small coffee, $5.70
--- "house" wine, $9.00 (up from $7.50, that's a 20% increase  )

Holy Profiteering, Batman!! Do you take your own drinks/food? What's allowed?
