I don’t think it is over the top to say this is a must win match.

We are clear favourites, at home, in perfect conditions, with close to our best team.

I predict
  • Crows by 15 points
  • Murphy will play a blinder (13 disposals including a goal) and will be a automatic selection until June
  • The Reds at our Adelaide Oval BBQ will be sensational.

A loss tonight will make Nicks' 2-year extension look silly. Danger game.

Home deck.
Perfect conditions.
One day more rest than Cats. (edited, thanks to Rory Walkerfield :thumbsu: )
Sholl out, bonus.
NO excuses.

Tex back, but grieving. The boys will rally around him and Nicks tonight.
Tex 5+ goals in a strong win, Crows by 8+ goals.

I tipped the Crows, and genuinely think they will come out breathing fire and make the Cats quit by halftime.

Tex to slot 6.

Cats have no answer for Rankine who ends up with 25, 3 goals and 3 Brownlow votes.

The cats game last week was 40 minutes before ours!

I am quite bullish on this one. We were sh1t for the first 3 quarters last week and still nearly ran over the top of GC when we decided to play. In much better conditions, at home and now with a point to prove, I think this might actually be a lopsided game where we win by 8-10 goals
Damn! Hope you're 100% correct!

I reckon we will get a 4-5 goal win, last week will just look like a blip.

And Rash leave everyone asking the question if he’s in for a 50+ goal season…

I'm still so flat from Round 1 so I really do hope they put in a good performance tonight, it's the first home opener where I'm excited to go but I'm still questioning why do I spend all this money on season tickets, they say "there's nothing like being there" but I feel like since covid and the cost of living spiralling the couch looks pretty nice these days.

So I need the boys to kick me out of my funk!
