It was well documented that Noble couldn't get the midfield mix right. Kept getting plonked on the wing or HFF with zero impact.

Was pretty obvious at the time Powell was being treated differently. When he played he played well but had the lowest game time, first one dropped and needed more weeks in the seconds with good form than he should have.
