6 years into a rebuild and we have no key forwards, no ruckman, no pace, no ability to take a contested mark and no elite kicking skills.

All we have is a bunch of slow nuggety in and under ‘tough’ players who can’t kick. All blokes in Roos image.

How is Strachan on an AFL list, let alone getting game time? I have not seen a player so out of his depth since, actually ever.

Geez that 5 minute patch in the third term was horrible. Completely lost defensive structure allowing the Heeney goal, some shocking competitive efforts and poor discipline, and one terrible umpiring decision as well (the Amartey free kick, not the one Hinge gave up to Adams which was definitely there).

Outside of that it wasn't a particularly bad performance. It always felt like Sydney were probably going to win but it was a live game which is a credible achievement against a very good side, but that period just can't happen. Been an issue throughout the year too, even if this is the worst example of it.

Strachan shouldn't play again, barring injuries. Whatever you might think about ROB, he doesn't get absolutely massacred like that by an opposition ruck. Really surprised he was retained after last week but this was certainly worse. You mainly just need your ruck to be competitive and give your mids a reasonable shot. We definitely have not been getting that the last two weeks.

Doesn’t know how to defend aerial contests and his body positioning is often terrible.

He was getting a lot of footy in the first two months and using it relatively well but his ability to defend didn’t seem to get exposed

He did ok on Warner but low impact himself. Nicks is completely out of ideas, midfield depth is complete garbage. Dowling and Taylor are the only ones left we can throw in there but no, lets put a 19 year old lockdown defender in the midfield whose never trained there.
