I think it's pretty obvious that Hansen Jr is not an AFL standard small forward, and highly unlikely he will ever be one. But yeah, play him the rest of the season. Nothing to lose. Is he taking the spot of any other genuine small forward in the VFL? If not, keep him in.

Still only 20. Needs time and games at the top level. Seems to have what it takes.

I'm never one for the soft thing, but he actively held back in some critical moments. Would persist but caught the eye.

No intensity. We Would have copped a couple of loose frees if he tried to hard. Never again. You cant coach intensity and he doesnt have it. Was a wasted chance to get a game into duursma or phillips frankly. Will never be an afl player. Sad but true. Move on.

Maybe strip it back and highlight to him his role is to pressure. Don’t worry about goals or kicks.

2 tackles per qrt. Aim for that.

Probobly the best small fwd we have by virtue of being the only small forward we have. Of course that makes him the worst small forward we have simultaneously.

I thought his lack of pressure was linked to adjusting to the pace. Give him time.

He did make a 80m chase in the 3rd where he started 10m back and almost impacted the kick. It got a "woah, what a chase!" from Riewoldt.

Good for Bobby to have his moment and put through his first goal.
Didn't do much overall, but feel we need to give him another game or 2 to see what he can do.

Going to be competing with Cooper and Drury, for 1 or 2 spots on the list next year.

Would have thought a player in his position would take this opportunity as if his life depends on it. If there was one thing you wouldn't want questioned, it would be workrate. He just didn't cut it today.

As we've seen today, Robbie satisfies that element of the key selection criteria.

Jesus, he may or may not make it but I think we can give him a bit more of a crack than 3 games. With the 3rd being a year after the 2nd.

Never forget Larkey 1st game 0 possessions. Needs a few games to get a proper look. Then we can assess.

Needs to be given a run of games before we make a decision. Rolling him out for 1 game against Carlton isn't enough to make a decision. His VFL form has been quality. Hope he features for at least the next 3 games.
