But you were talking about using English as a FWD/Ruck.
We have secondary ruckman (Darcy/Lobb), but swinging English fwd just doesn't fit when you have all that tall timber already.

I legit said I wish we had a back up ruck so we had the option now of using English forward. What else do you want from me haha

MSD the VFL's best ruck?
Don't know if Smith is ready, maybe Buku short term as he can play 3rd def/fwd
We're 33-18 in clearances and people want to take out the ruck that's helped us achieve that?

Sam Darcy has been compared to Paul Salmon. Salmon did an ACL in 1984 when he was absolutely flying. His team, Essendon, went on to win the premiership.

Glass half full?

I'm just defensive of Tingles. I love him.

All of those posters who behaved like Chicken Little in the first quarter, you can give yourselves an uppercut right now.

For anyone that missed it I want to cry

Genuine empathy there from Egan. He did well to hold it together.

He'd know more than most how devastating an injury can be. In a parallel universe he'd be a triple premiership player. Instead he got injured in the final round of 2007 and never played again. He was All Australian that year too.

Lachlan Smith?

Haven't seen him this season. He showed promising signs last year but looked seasons away from AFL level

Was that outclassed by Crossley that we had to use Gardner in the ruck. Maybe he is Bevo's answer?

If Smith is ready I'd be shocked and excited. When he is 22/23 I'm excited to see what he'll bring

The sideways movement tests usually provide a pretty good idea of whether it’s an acl sadly. The scan just provides that confirmation but also looks at additional damage within the knee.

Lachlman and drawer test is usually very accurate. Scan will confirm it. Time to build the body up Sam and gear up for next year. Thilthorpe is a good example.

We’re utterly destroying an opponent who have actually looked decent so far this year.

And yet I don’t care. Darcy likely doing his ACL just killed all the enthusiasm I had for this season.

Arguably our 3 most important forwards all now probably gone for the season. You can’t recover from that

sam getting injured means what now with jamarra ? ugh
Nothing. It appears we've put the case to the AFL to have him delisted. Even if he was of sound mind to play, still wouldn't make an appearance until Round 15,16 or 17 for fitness reasons. And I wouldn't want him playing anyway, Chuck Croft down there.
