Folks, this is the way things are here.

Posters are responsible for what they post. Moderators can not attest to the accuracy or otherwise of any rumour posted.

Moderators will intervene for a couple of reasons.

1. If a thread is threatening to be derailed because of a post.

2. If invested parties request the removal of material.

None of this draws a conclusion as to the accuracy or otherwise of the original post.

There is no need to further speculate. What will be will be.

Also, you need to remember that this thread like all parts of this forum is bound by the rules of poster conduct. If you want to express skepticism towards a rumour that's fine, but having a crack at posters who are contributors to this forum is simply not on and will be acted upon.

Simply put, don't be a dick.

I’m not calling into question your info but that’s quite a turnaround from his assessment at the start of the year we should be top 4 this season.

Also cook has been there 4 years, it’s not like he is suddenly seeing behind the scenes from an outsider perspective.

I am calling into question this info, 7 years is a ridiculous statement and anyone who thinks cook has said this is just being emotional.

Things have clearly changed over that 4 years.

The first couple years wasn't so bad... we got to a prelim and things were looking on track...

But things have very clearly deviated, and the damage done may be why his assessment of the list has changed as dramatically as it has.

We all know that there have been some bad things that have happened at the club this year... these topics have been kept very quiet on here and for good reason...

Everyone in the media and former players seem to suggest Vossy will be the coach next year. Feels like it’s only the fans who think he will be gone.

I think most of the ex-players in the media go easy on other ex-players, especially one of the real champions of the game. He was a great player so they won't go too hard on the things he's not so good at.
Kane Cornes is the exception, who almost relishes it, because it's great for him as the only real shock jock the AFL has.
It would be interesting to hear behind closed doors from AFL people who aren't personal friends, what they actually think about what he's doing as a senior coach.

Cook has had a big hand in this.

Either way, Cook is gone end of year so what he says has **** all relevance now.

l don't believe there is any credibility to that rumour at all, that is not Cook at all.
That would be a real indictment on himself.

What a joke. 40 something ranking points, no tackles, 11 hit outs.
He was one of our worst players.1.7 million dollar man needs to be in VFL. Only coasting in seniors thinking of not getting hurt before Saints contract.

And what really got me angry.
Collingwood cheer squad singing Saints go marching in to TDK when he was on Darcy Moore in goal square.
TDK was just smiling.Its embarrassing. Had chance to show some ticker. Go to VFL please.I wish I got his salary under false pretences.

Yep he has checked out with the rest of the players. If he is gone and the club knows it then he should go to the VFL.
