Also, you need to remember that this thread like all parts of this forum is bound by the rules of poster conduct. If you want to express skepticism towards a rumour that's fine, but having a crack at posters who are contributors to this forum is simply not on and will be acted upon.

If only GW knows what he will do, it’s probable that there aren’t any club insiders leaking anything. Voss might well be the coach next year, but I doubt that decision has been made right now. Losing 6 of the last 8 games might be it for him.

The media and former players can waffle on all they want. The final decision will probably be Graham Wright’s and I reckon he hasn’t made it yet.

From what I can tell, JUH's problem isn't the bubble. It's that he likes to have a good time.

There's 5x as many fancy clubs and bars and high-end parties in Syd vs Melb.

Being out of the bubble will just allow him to get even looser and worry less about the consequences...

Private parties and speak of, but clubbing bars etc are a lot better in melb than Sydney- and I’ve done bothe cities extensively

They're operating on the information provided from inside the club that has been posted here earlier in the season.

That's that Voss will stay and that we'll get a brand new team of assistants around him

Club has been pretty tight lipped since then despite what people are discussing. Nothing was ever going to change under Brian Cook and we're yet to see Wright get cooking until August.

Frankly it's only natural for supporters to be in "coach will be sacked" mode given the history of the club.

Surely he cant survive after GW comes in.

Perversely he'd potentially be a good fit with GW as a football focussed CEO.
GW has a hand in all the major decisions and BL looks after the day-to-day.

JUH's biggest problem is an inability to understand the difference between true mates and toxic mates. Moving out of Victoria would likely do him a world of good if the team who gets him surrounds him with the right people

I think its a combination of mates in the media and the view that "Carlton just can't sack another coach", thats keeping Voss safe in the eyes if the media.

Though I think that view will start to shift if things continue. Its already starting a bit.

Looking at our run home hard to see us winning more than 2 games, l would be surprised if Voss survives at year-end.
Across the board changes is the most likely outcome.

I've said in earlier post the media - at least for now - want Voss retained because they know it keeps the story going, it's easy TV or radio to pick over the carcass of Carlton each Monday.

This is actually what I'm hearing. Don't like to go to early on this stuff as things can change. But if I had to put my money on something it's this .

I wouldn't be trading and going to the draft. I'd be using the TDK compo and any other trade picks to get an existing decent player in.

If we are to trade any players, I’d expect we’d only get picks. What sane current player would want to sign up for joining CFC? We are a rudderless sinking ship. Have been for 25 years, sadly . Do we have any sport psychologists working with our players? Sack the coach, rinse repeat. We’ve been sacking coaches for 20 years now and we still aren’t anywhere near winning a flag. I’m not confident in Vossy, but who would want to coach us? We’ve also sacked high performance conditioning coaches. Something has been smelly at this club for far too long. I’m honestly at a loss as to what the solution and way forward is. Good luck GW, you’re going to need it.
It’s surprises me as to how long it took the coach and club to realise, this year, how far we actually are off the rest of the comp in competiveness and modern football. We starting showing our style was lacking from mid last season but we didn’t evolve and have now stagnated and are so predictable. I’m not surprised that players may want to leave. C’mon blues…….get your shit together, please. Let’s get back to where we should be. Love this club, but gee we need to get this offseason right, particularly with the devils entering the comp/ draft soon. Tick tock, tick tock. Patience is running out. 50 year supporter, 35 year member. Go Baggers!!
