For all the talk about how good the Serong and Brayshaw combination is for freo they really do miss that big bodied mid to pair with them. They have Brodie tearing up the WAFL who could play the role but they won’t give him a game. I know the knock on him is his 2 way running but surely he’s worth another crack.

Until they find that 3rd mid I see them just being a middle of the table team.

The best three things about Freo is.The Canning Highway, High road and South Terrace which all take you out of there.

That would be Canning Hwy, High St and South St.
South Terrace doesn't take you out of Fremantle.

They also run Jackson through the midfield.

Their biggest issue IMO is their coach.

I’m not sure Young’s body can handle playing midfield. He’s looked good but keeps breaking down. Multiple Hammys are a big concern.

Jackson as a mid doesn’t really seem like a long term option. I still don’t think Darcy (Who was crap today) & Jackson is really going to work long term.

They should be throwing money at a Patty Cripps. Carlton are a rabble so maybe he’d be open to it.

I'd normally agree but I thought the markings at the SCG are shorter because it's a football ground for ants.

Not sure he ran 20m but I think he did more than 15m.
