I’d play the 2 rucks, Oscar and Fort

Day looks way slower than earlier in the season, Smith just isn’t good enough and it’s too late to play Gallop

Might not matter anyway we might only have 6 more quarters this year

Need a bit more composure. First quarter it was just going inside 50. That quarter we seemed to be hack kicking all over the ground.

The forwards still need to pull their fingers out of their arse and start locking the ball in though. Not getting a whole lot of repeat stoppages up there when we do get it in.

They're going to keep coming.

We need to lower our eyes and tighten up all over the ground. Especially in the midfield.

Day is totally cooked imo ,he's trying hard but looks exhausted at every contest. Best thing he can do is keep getting his body in the road . I get the criticism of Gardiner but there wasn't a lot he could do a lot of the time. OK , his disposal is heart in the mouth stuff.

Just looks so slow when ball hits the ground unfortunately. Even when he gets it he looks so slow with his decision making

Even when it’s in the air, he makes life a lot tougher for the under pressure mids when he can’t make a contest on a quick clearing kick

The problematic ones with Tracey are where he gets a lead to quick unpressured ball - they’re hard entries to defend. The normal contests with dizzy look passable.

Tracey has good wheels as well which makes it a harder challenge

I will be really disappointed if we lose Starc next season. He is a gun. I’d rather we stopped buying in the Gunston, Day, Doodee and use the money to keep our stars and develop our youngsters. Unless we are recruiting a star like Neale, Dunkley etc let’s not waste our salary cap.

Ive been screaming out for a Tracey type for years. Would love him in Lions colours. Hopefully Allen arrives he’s slightly different but loves a contest and has the size for it.
