Yes the best players are in the 20s...putting aside how stupid that is, your picks will be in the 30s lolHahahaha we swindled you guys. This draft is terrible (all the good talent is around the 20’s where we hold two picks!) and Whitlock is guaranteed star.

Miles ahead based on the last game in Tassie where the only player missing from Norths best-23 was Larkey… Is that what you’re basing it on?I don't think we can say Norf stuffed their rebuild by going Mids first. They showed they are miles ahead of us (as they should be, being more advanced in their rebuild). We have taken the path of KPP's first, only time will tell if that was a smart move.
Tell me who wins
Pick #4 for picks #27 + #31
If you are counting the picks we traded to them as 27 and 31....then the pick we got from them will likely fall to about pick 7 by the time it is activated at the draft. Also, I don't think our Rd 2 pick will fall as far as 31. It is pick 20 now and after all the FA, father-son & academy insertions it could fall to around pick 30. But there will likely be picks before that used to match bids, so by the time North use that pick it might be around pick 26 or 27.
This trade in isolation absolutely suits both clubs. The value has likely fallen our way in terms of draft points. But when you factor in the 2024 draft is thought to be a lot stronger and deeper than the 2025 renewal, there might not be as much disparity in this trade as first appears the case. Not a shadow of a doubt the trade suits our ends though.
NorfWho do we deathride next? That was fun, lol!
Should trade us another top 5 pick for a dud and pick 30 so you can swindle us againHahahaha we swindled you guys. This draft is terrible (all the good talent is around the 20’s where we hold two picks!) and Whitlock is guaranteed star.
Nah. If we initiate the matching of bids, it’s irrelevant what the pick falls to. We will still have the third best player in the open market. We will determine what the pick falls to. Pick 7? Highly doubt that.If you are counting the picks we traded to them as 27 and 31....then the pick we got from them will likely fall to about pick 7 by the time it is activated at the draft. Picks 21 & 22 will be deep into the 30s after father sons and academy picksFURTHER NORTH podcast:
“The number of the pick doesn’t matter…”
“This is a shallow draft.”
Also FURTHER NORTH podcast:
“We have picks 21 & 22…”
