I though it was pretty obvious the Crows were playing a lot more like us from early in the year. I know there's bit a bit of musing on Daly being over the line once Fages calles it quits, but I also wonder whether Muzz's name shouldn't be in the conversation a little more.

This article also says that the Lions are designed to losing Bree Brock at the end of the AFLW season to the Crows, which is a shame. It's great for Qld footy that two home-grown footy identities are having such an influence though.

I know the thinking for some time amongst player agents has been that the climate in Queensland is likely to extend your career.

I suppose Zorko is Exhibit A . Wouldn't be surprised if Lachie has a lot more in him than people think as well. Froggy's playing his best footy by miles after a long time in the system.

Barring concussions , Acl's and other significant injures that could happen anywhere your capacity to deal with soft tissue and ageing issues is definitely enhanced in the warmer climate.
