The reasons are that list spots are short, we are building for the long term, there are younger options who would love the spot and would ‘objectively’ improve our list and have a chance to be with us in the longer term, and if we are going to bring in older talent to protect the kids, then ideally it is for someone that has durability because flying cross country every second week isn’t going to improve MM’s availability.

And arguing about it under the guise of ‘I don’t really want it but no one should be surprised’ seems pretty lame. I assume I care much more about issues that I would spend far less time arguing about than you have spent arguing about MM.

Anderson and Rowell are exactly why if we get pick 2, we keep it and draft the two best midfielders and then build around them.

Which KPDs are we into? All we've heard is Tylar Young or whatever his name is. I know next to nothing about him like 99% of people on this website, so im not going to confidently say hes a better option.
There may be others but no better/younger established players or high ceiling youngsters seem likely.
