We all accept it was soft but if I'm Chris Scott I'm asking O'Connor why do something so needless when the ball is 100m away and Stengle is about to have a shot at extending the lead to 33 points.
He leaned on him. Something you see hundreds of times in every match. Everyone knows Rayner is a flopper except unfortunately Plough’s son. For that, his 2025 umpiring season is over with some intense education awaiting.

Personally I won’t be satisfied unless the umpire is crucified outside of Kardinia Park.

Must be hard to finally be on the end of some poor umpiring for the first time

We can sympathise. It's tough. Must be weird having the media focus on it so much. Not something we get as Lions fans

Anyway cheer up. I'm sure next match you'll go back to getting an armchair ride from the umps

-wipes away tears- cam Rayner is a flopper and he’s all I see at night when I close my eyes.

See how upset they are people. This is what I’m talking about. Better than winning a flag.

I don't think we will make it, but could you imagine if we somehow managed to make the GF and face geelong again? Rayner would probably have to go into witness protection if he kicked the winning goal after being knocked off the ground behind play.

I had endless nightmares last night. Just visions of Cam flopping, and flopping, and flopping again. I wonder how HE is sleeping at night???

It’s all they’ll be talking about at the Ford factory this week

Reflecting on the possibility that our season could likely end next Saturday has made me appreciate our grand final win last year a little more. My mum passed away from cancer in July and another thing that made that flag so special to me is the fact that she got to see me finally experience my club winning a premiership before she passed.

I can't stand contact off the ball, full stop.
Centre bounces, stoppages, in the forward line, anywhere.
Off course, they can't police it and eradicate it. But why are you interfering with a player whose not going for the ball or in possession of it ?

The idea Rayner staged is pretty rank 😂. Off the ball contact in the back x2 and we're focusing on Rayner and not the moronic cats players. The AFL world is dumb. We're all stupider for following it.

Sunday footy show panel all want Rayner fined for staging (bar Barrett). These people don't remember anything - at least not what I remember.

Check out the dive Grimes takes in 2020 that he got off by written submission at the tribunal, because where there is contact you can't actually prove it was insufficient to cause you to fall:

Mark O'Connor is a SERIAL SNIPER PUSHER:

Not sure why Merrett decided to accept a fine rather than challenge like Vlaustin and Grimes. Probably cost a rookie listed player at the club their match fees from Zach wanting compensation from the club.

What was the incident when Clug was sling tackled and clearly hit his head on the ground but the media went hard at him for faking the contact?

Another chapter in the disgusting media Vic bias

Danger tackling him last year in the prelim I think?

There was also outrage when Sicily got suspended for a dangerous tackle on clug because hE gOT a H0ld!ing Da bAlL fr33 kICk.

But then you looked at the replay and he slammed Clug's head into the turf and he got a concussion.

I know I always take a five metre run up when I lean on a wall.

Very soft and not a free kick but you're probably seeing the end result from an accumulation of warnings and things 'off the ball'.

I would ask the question as to why the hell you would “lean” on him when he’s 120m from play and your teammate is having a set shot? That’s stupidity. He gave the umpire a decision to make and it backfired for being a smart ass. The whinging from your lot, especially on an opposition board after a comfortable victory, is classless and reeks of entitlement. You've had it too good for too long and don't know what copping a bit of bad luck means.

Especially when you arguably had several more contentious calls in your favour throughout the night.

It’s also as if a Geelong player hasn’t played for a free kick before, happens most games. Jeremy Cameron gets a flick on the ear hole and acts as if he's been shot … get over it and look forward to your prelim instead of calling out a guys character after one incident.

They are sheep just following the narrative and hype that is perpetuated by the Victorian footy media.
