I'm imagining a Geelong v Hawthorn grand final now...

Can't happen, they meet in a prelim if the Hawks beat Adelaide.

Turns out the editors at fox footy watch about as many Essendon games as they do Eagles...

Joining the illustrious dubious twin club alongside the likes of Ryan Rioli and Brander Rotham, I present to you Martin Caldwell!

I honestly think it is going to be an Adelaide v Collingwood GF which is going to be a clusterf*** given Rankine will be available. Will be a big week for the true AFL administration haters out there.
Rankine did a shitty shitty thing, but I'm still supporting the Crows over the Pies. Not a tough decision at all.

A very sizeable chunk of footy supporters would rather describe Rankine playing in the GF against the Pies, as truly delicious.

Rankine kicking the winning goal from the boundary after being on the end of a Keane to O'Brien to Rachelle chain from deep in the Pies fwd line with 1:47 on the clock, would be a gift from god.

For Rankine's part, he did the crime and will have served his time by the GF if the Crow's make it, so all power to him.

I think Collingwood will be in the GF as the 2 QLD sides have probably shoot their shot.

GC won their flag last week and Bris are running out of soldiers.

You'd expect the Pies to romp the prelim, but strange things happen in September.

Geelong, to me, seem ripe for the plucking. Not sure why but they seem a bit over confident all the time and Adel or Hawks have the team and style that could definitely trouble them.

The meltdown at Cats this week is really Bizarre. Feels like they are cracking under pressure when they're actually in the advantageous spot.

Tonight should be interesting.

Adelaide v Hawthorn

Crows prob won let Hawks get off to a 30-0 start like last time and wouldn't want to.

Get the Crowd up and about early.

If Adelaide lose, straight sets and despite a brilliant H & A season will be a disappointing end for them.

If Hawks lose its 2 straight Semi Finals losses and no real improvement despite all the chest beating and big name trades.

Delicious

Reckon if the Suns can knock off the Lions they're a decent chance to do a Bulldogs 2016. Theres a few parallels too.

  • Week 1: Win on the road in Perth when no one expects them to
  • Week 2: Knock off a local rival at their home ground (Bulldogs beat Hawthorn at the G in 2016)
  • Week 3: Win on the road as the underdogs again (GC will play Collingwood at the G, in 2016 the Dogs won a thriller away against GWS)
  • Week 4: Umpires ensure the underdogs complete the Cinderella story

Was at the Dogs v GWS game, the Dogs knocked Callum Ward out early, proceeded to get every free kick from the umpires and just won.

GC won't need that against the Pies. If they get an even whistle, their run may cause problems against an old Pies team. Pies still massive favourites obviously.
