The leading posts are made by real humans in real positions of power and influence and close allies of Trump.

For example the post by Elon Musk - the owner of the X platform calling 'the left the party of murder', and venture capitalist, former DOGE director and adviser to Trump Shaun Maguire saying 'we are at war'. Well before the culprit and their motive has been determined.

These are real people stoking the fires of hatred and insurrection on the most popular social media platforms on the planet and backed by the White House.

We've seen the results of this sort of language before.

After the events of January 6 2021, only a partisan fool would still think that such language led by leaders of US government and industry don't have real and tragic consequences for their democracy and its institutions.
