He advocated Kamala being shot because she supports the 2nd Amendment. I say thats low
Not advocating. Was asking if it would be ok for Kamala to be shot as she supports 2nd amendment (making false equivalence of her support and Kirk’s type of support)
The answer is no, as her support is nothing like the articulated support Kirk did

If Kamala supports the second amendment then she surely accepts the same
I support the use of nail guns in the building construction industry, because that is their purpose. But I do not condone the use of these tools to shoot me or anyone else who isn't attacking the carpenter at the moment he or she is holding one.

If, however, I campaigned for the widespread acceptance of carpenters randomly shooting passers-by with their nail guns as a necessary by-product of their otherwise constructive use in the building industry, then I probably shouldn't have too much of a problem if I copped the odd nail in my own arse from time to time.

You can’t support the 2nd amendment and pretend that doesn’t come with the consequences of innocent people being shot, he just stated the obvious . Kamala is a gun owner and supports the right to bear arms. She is no better than Kirk in regards to guns even if she didn’t say the obvious.

If I say part of the freedom to drive around Australia means some people will die on the roads it doesn’t simply mean I deserve to be killed. You are just stating the risks that come with that right.

But a "God-Given" right to bear arms? Kirk went further than most in support of the right to bear arms. It was his mission from God.

And don't forget he's vehemently anti-abortion which is leading to an increase in maternal deaths and infant deaths (more children being born with congenital defects).

Found this.

"Two hundred yards is an incredibly difficult shot, considering the conditions.

That’s the kind of range where trained marksmen rely on match-grade sniper ammunition — rounds like .308 or 6.5 Creedmoor, engineered for precision and stability.

At that distance, you don’t just pull a trigger. You calculate wind drift, humidity, and elevation. And somehow, maintain your heartbeat and breathing.

A 5-mph crosswind can shift a bullet inches off target at 200 yards.

Yet the shooter struck the neck — exactly where intended. No bullet proof vest would have stopped that.
The Trump shooting in Butler, Pennsylvania was from a distance of about 70 yards."

If it turns that Kirk was killed by a leftist, he/she is a better shot than 99% of those hayseed hillbillies that give the NRA its reason for existing.

What? But have you not seen the HUNDREDS of posts on reddit claiming that 'every good deer hunter' could make that shot?

Trump & Co by the way are threatening foreign nationals in the US about any social media posts being

Free speech for me but not for Thee it seems.

"'In light of yesterday's horrific assassination of a leading political figure, I want to underscore that foreigners who glorify violence and hatred are not welcome visitors to our country,' Landau wrote on X. Landau added, 'I have been disgusted to see some on social media praising, rationalizing, or making light of the event, and have directed our consular officials to undertake appropriate action. Please feel free to bring such comments by foreigners to my attention so that the @StateDept can protect the American people."

And we can assume this is word for word what he wrote when Pelosi's husband was attacked in their home with a hammer, and when the Minnesota Democrat politicians were assassinated...?

And they would be right. The BBC article I read said 130m, but 200 yards is harder, like say the difference between a 25m kick for goal and a 35m kick for goal.

“He didn't have to be highly trained as a sniper to make that shot from 200 yards, because 200 yards with the right rifle and the right optics is not that far,” former FBI Supervisory Special Agent Dennis Franks told The Independent."

"Luke Laterza, a retired police sergeant and expert firearms examiner who ran the Newark PD’s ballistics lab until 2016, largely echoed Franks’s take on things."

“As far as a skill level, he did know what he was doing,” Laterza told The Independent. “This guy had some knowledge of shooting.”

“Maybe he was a hunter,” Laterza said. “Maybe he took some lessons.”

"If the scope is properly dialed in, the type of rifle the possible suspect used “could easily make that shot at well over 1,000 yards,” according to Laterza, who said wind would not have been much of a factor with a heavy round."

I have not fired a firearm in 30 years, but 30 years ago with say a .308 and a zeroed in scope, sure. But being inexperienced in taking elevated shots, getting the drop right would have been an issue. But I do not believe he was aiming for the neck. He got the drop wrong.

Frankly a lot of this "he had to be a trained sniper rubbish" is the media beating things up, the same way they will call a .223 intermediate round "high powered", yea compared to a .22 long rifle. Or the way any AFL player is an "AFL Star".

If it was a transgender leftist, maybe they should reconsider their move to ban them from the military. ;)

First Trump and now Kirk. Unfortunately who knows what’s at play but offing politicians and political commentators is a slippery slope to absolute chaos.
I wouldn't be surprised if there is another attempt on donny's life and even vance's life now, and them fox hosts better increase their security for themselves and their families.

Good question, and my last post here.

Just to see how low the left can go.

I I don't care that you're a Hawthorn supporter, I'm just going to put your ignore now. But I'll be frank... There's a lot of racist, homophobic, misogynist, RWNJ Hawthorn supporters, so there's a brand there. Disgusting.

Oh and since The Golden Glenferrie gave you a like, I'll put them on ignore to.

His anti abortion stance is leading to more infant deaths? Seems like an odd statement.

I’m not super passionate about the abortion stance but can welcome healthy debate on both sides about what is right and wrong.
