Take your pick Doc > Kai, Charlie, Logan, Cam, Zac, Ty or O. Personally I'd pick Charlie to have a blinder(unlikely on form), him firing will really get the Lions crowd up and about along with lift his teammates. Most likely to be a game breaker for us tonight IMO is Zac.I worry about our forward line. Funny we have lost more backs but they are easy to replace. One of the forwards needs to get off the chain.
Top 2?Got a serious case of the meh’s for this one. If we salute I’m forking out $ (albeit not much) for a prelim ticket to a game I don’t think we’ve got much of a chance in. If we lose I’ll put it down to the hardest draw in history and our injury list (whilst shaking my fist violently at missing top 4 - seriously, how the **** did we not beat North).
This is good for us.Please win Brisbane. I live on the Gold Coast, and I'm already sick of hearing their song on the local radio station.

There are those who worship a player who was great in the wet (they say he could walk on water) and who was known for his amazing comebacks. They claim their man was drummed out of the game because he sought to overturn the player payment system and was subsequently crucified by the umpires. ‘Head to Head’ these worshippers have a terrible record against The Lions, losing every encounter, but they have one saying that the FOOTY GODS ENDORSE. In their Holy Footy Record, one supporter writes, “By their deeds thou shalt know them.”
Yes indeed, by their deeds thou shalt know them. Look, mortals, at your Mighty Lions when they bring their ‘A’ game. They are untameable.
Last week THE FOOTY GODS punished The Lions For dropping Bruce Reville and keeping Sam Day in the team, but this week Chris Fagan, has repented on Reville and sacrificed Day. In response, THE FOOTY GODS will lift the curse we placed on Charlie Cameron after the first goal of the Geelong game and bless The Lions. WE PROCLAIM THE LIONS WILL BE VICTORIOUS AND THEY WILL DEVOUR THE SUNS, JUST AS THE LIONS DID REGULARLY TO THEIR OPPONENTS IN ANCIENT TIMES AT COLOSSEUM STADIUM.
We decree, LIONS BY LOTS! Further, we bless The Lions for resigning Ryan Lester, persisting with Ty Gallop and recalling Oscar McInerney. For these deeds we will lead you to another Grand Final and another Premiership! We will bless your older players, who are superstars and we will provide a double blessing to THE LION CUBS, especially the Holy Trinity of Ashcroft, Ashcroft and Fletcher. Abundant goals shall flow to Morris, Rayner, Lohmann and Bailey. Cameron will prove the doubters wrong and Gallop will have a BREAKOUT GAME.
As it is written, so shall it be.
THE FOOTY GODS.
I really do think whoever wins tonight has got a very good chance of beating the Pies, what looked an impressive win last week v the Crows is not all that impressive in hindsight after what the Hawks did to them last night.Could be a choice of GC, Pies, Hawks and Cats after tonight. Might be the last game of footy watched for the year, if this plays out the way I worry it will.
Think whoever wins tonight is playing to get knocked out in a prelim anyway, but would be nice to win at least one final this year and then re-set for a huge offseason this year.
Agree regarding the Lions winning part.I really do think whoever wins tonight has got a very good chance of beating the Pies, what looked an impressive win last week v the Crows is not all that impressive in hindsight after what the Hawks did to them last night.

Big O's addition this late in the season is pretty tactical, uplifting.
Hope he plays well and kicks a few.
Time to make amends for that round 20 game. Get it done Lions !
