You could have added a bit of gusto. Fine I won’t give up my day job
Did you enjoy us going out in straight sets, at home, with a minimal injury list?Don’t lie. You aren’t enjoying it. You are nitpicking every single thing, trying to score points and trying to prove your now somewhat outdated premise that Nicks is still a shit coach. It’s a sad little man who won’t adjust his thoughts and beliefs even when mounting evidence to the contrary exists. Clearly Davis has enhanced the coaching team - that’s what he was brought in for after all. Nobody is arguing that. But he is just one cog in the overall mechanism with Nicks remaining the controlling factor. What will you do if we do miraculously win the whole shebang? Declare it wasn’t Nicks, it was Murray Davis? Still demand Nicks be sacked? What is your end point here?
King kicks two first quarter goals and before then end of the quarter Brisbane switch defenders. King is unsighted after.
Does Nicks know you are allowed to do this?

Buddy on Franklin. Match day philosophies are no different.
Im not convinced Nathan is any betterBecause Nicks is a bum
What an odd choice of quote.Did you enjoy us going out in straight sets, at home, with a minimal injury list?
I'd take Buckley or Simpson in a heartbeat. If Longmire is interested in a return to coaching, he should be sounded out. Otherwise there are no better options than one more year of Nicks. Buckley isn’t the answer to anything. Spud coach.
Under no circumstances should there be even a mention of extending Nicks contract. His continued tenure is entirely dependent on improvement next season. Prelim or bust.
You said I wasn’t enjoying the season, I was, however I was mindful that we’ve got TemuKen and we would blow it in the finals, my concerns over his coaching you and your fellow cheerleaders labelled me and others as haters, not happy in life, etc. What an odd choice of quote.
Of course I didn’t enjoy it. My first and only comment in the match day thread was SACK NICKS. However, he did some things right this year that enabled us to win 18 games and finish top. We overcame a lot of hoodoos, but sadly now have created others. He cannot coach on match day. Solution for me is to get a new coach…but at the very least, get a match day strategist in the box with him. I was hoping that would be Murray Davis but apparently not.
You mean Massie on Franklin (Buddy).
The way Nicks presented himself (and the club) through last week was (and I get the AFC drip feed to media policy) the most insipid, characterless piece of non-achievement I have witnessed. The guy appears to have no substance.Nicks spent weeks talking about finals being a "different game" that he's made it a self fulfilling prophecy. Being in finals hasn't stopped Brisbane, Geelong, Collingwood, Hawthorn and even Gold Coast from playing hard running, aggressive, overlap brands of footy.
Nicks choked the most out of the entire club.

The problem is I don't think it's necessarily a lack of ideas in the box. We changed things up during the year, but finals come around and Nicks immediately went into his "finals footy" mode he's tried numerous times before. What an odd choice of quote.

He speaks far better from an analytical POV.Im not convinced Nathan is any better
Simpson would be my preferred option.I'd take Buckley or Simpson in a heartbeat.
Need to heed some lessons from 2017 here
Yes, devastating finals series. Players would be crushed, confidence shattered.
Coaches... do not solve it by pointing out that the players must be mentally weak and the players need to be blamed, toughened up, broken down etc. Look internally first
Lloyd on footy show just showed footage of us playing sideways keepies off and that you need to challenge your oppo. Didn’t someone say we had the go slow sign up for most of the game and only changed to boxing gloves when it was over? If so, that’s not on the players ‘choking’, that’s the coaches.
One thing I always look for is the signs we put on the bench. It was the T all game until about halfway through the 3rd when we were down by 5 goals and stuck up the boxing glove.
Wtf get rid of the campaigner. Takes away our greatest strength for over half the game absolute joke.Just repeating what I just posted separately, a poster said they keep an eye on the signs held up by the bench throughout the game and that it only changed to boxing gloves late in the 3rd when we were already done. That’s not players failing.
Wow, so Mattrox WaynesWorld19 Pilchard_Adams 119others care to give your opinion on this? One thing I always look for is the signs we put on the bench. It was the T all game until about halfway through the 3rd when we were down by 5 goals and stuck up the boxing glove.
That was so obvious, we didn’t take the game on again, our sideways movement was just dumb, so ****ing slow.Lloyd on footy show just showed footage of us playing sideways keepies off and that you need to challenge your oppo.
