I've been watching some match highlights of our finals wins from the last few years. Really snuck up on me re: wilmott when they mentioned his goal on debut...

Daniher being the match winner on that GWS match really drove home his absence now.... but I'm hoping a complete team performance won't require any last minute individual heroics.

I hadn’t been back to Melbourne since before covid. It was time to reacquaint myself.
Caught the tram from the city. Walked along Gertrude Street. Had a beer at the Builders’ Arms, we toasted Archie Roach.
Headed to the Napier Hotel but there was no sign of Jack Irish. Called in at Naked For Satin for a beer on the top floor. Finished with a Lions Lager at the Royal Derby. Tomorrow we head to the “G”.

Might be coincidence more than anything, but I love that Fagan has reintroduced the Big O right as the whips are cracking. What a motivational tool to pull him out the front and get the boys up and going to get him a flag. It’s going to be hot, if we can get the uncontested mark game going and nullify their pressure, we are right in it. Go Lions!

North East suburbs dude....Pies territory so spent some time at Vic Park as an under ager but could never forgive Carlton 4 the way they robbed and pillaged the Roys. Never been so happy seeing the KARMA bus coming to bite them in the ass....may it continue forever n a day.
