Sydney’s form was seriously good up to the GF.

No it was seriously good in the middle of the year. By close to and in finals they were wobbling worse than Collingwood this year. By then they were an easy kill.

Even if they play, they'll be sore and sorry.

Could be 4-5 Sam Reids out there next Saturday.

Based on these comments from his press conference, Fagan isn't ruling out either Neale or Berry

"He's doing a lot of work and he had a really good training session this morning. It's looking more positive than negative at the moment," Fagan said in his post-match press conference.

"We'll just have to wait and see how he gets through the week. It won't be long before we're back down here because I think we're coming back down on Wednesday. We'll see how he goes."

"The medical staff haven't written him (Berry) off either. We'll wait and see. It didn't look good and obviously he couldn't continue the game," Fagan said.

"But again, the risk will be if he plays, will it pop out again? So lots to talk about there. I haven't really had a chance to talk to our medical staff. We'll just wait and see.

The smartest comment from his press conference regarding injuries - question is if they take note of this or take the risk

"But one thing I do know is you can't take unfit players into grand finals. It just doesn't work. So we'll make a common sense decision."

100 % hopefully that helps us. Stanley seems right to go and we are healthy.

Couldn't take Berry in. It will go again and the they are a man down.
Neale is a harder call because hes such a good brownlow medallist.

Gunston aside, Jack is quicker and more agile than he was in that game. My main point is that he was not going well

Totally agree, just watched my 5th replay, and paid particular attention to Jack's moves. Definitely lost a metre, balance affected, filled me with dread. I doubt he'll come up, you just can't shake that chronic stuff when the swelling comes up. If he does it will be risky and they'll put their speediest on him.
BTW: Funny, I lipread him after the game when approached by SDK.
You alright?
Yeah, I'm alright. IDGAF.
(tough talk for I'll play through it)

That was definitely true early. But there were contests late where he matched Gunston.

I know a couple of guys playing at a local level. One of them said that at this time of year, he’s just tired and sore from the wear and tear. Legs just fatigued. That extra game that Brisbane played will take its toll. This is where the two bye weeks will really help.

Gunston is the #1 rated player in the AFL this year for lead up marks, plus he

Jack Henry needs love more. Tough boy.

I would never fly to Tassie to see an event without a roof.
Oh gee I wonder why big acts dont go to Tassie?

Taylor Swift current plays at venues that hold less than 23,000.
But like hell is she going to Tassie to play in front of 5,000 at the entertainment centre.

Tassie were just lucky that the Oils felt they owed it to Tassie to go and play there.
So you are telling me that you would fly to tassie to see an event if they had a stadium with a roof?

I call BS.

Why would you leave the confines of your own state to see something you can see at home?

Local populations are the only way you can make an investment like this viable. Tourists are a very small cherry on the top of the cake. Largely irrelevant.

I don't think anyone reads the ball coming in better than Gunners he's a master of his craft the Hawks will miss him when he hangs up the boots.A fully fit Henry would still struggle.

Yeah, I'm not saying Jack would cover him perfectly, just that there were a few he'd have stopped. Like that one that bounced back and Henry had to turn and chase but couldn't, so Gunston able to hit up Lewis in the goal square.

He over ran the ball then couldn't turn back and chase properly. Re run that one with no injury and Henry probably intercept marks it to begin with or if not at least prevents or affects the kick.

I like him very much but where do we play him? We have so many capable hff types already
Something's NQR about him.

I see him play and see his speed/power and rate him... then look at his stats and he hardly touches it (year in year out).

Just has not taken the step forward from promising to a good player.

11 touches a game... hardly touches it more than 13 times and doesn't hit the scoreboard.

Definitely looks a good sub type player to come on and inject speed.

Maybe he needs a change to take that next step... maybe he is what he is and will forever be a low-possession tease.

Another one where his impact feels higher than the numbers then. I'd chase him if I were port

I was shocked when I had a look at his stats before.

Seems a better player than his numbers.

With that speed and power... I don't know why he hasn't had at least one of those games where he has taken it by the scruff and had that "big breakout game".

Just hasn't happened... Not sure why. Certainly has not taken the next step and he is probably a couple steps away from where he'd wanna be.

Something's NQR.

Hehe yes, but the idea I'm pushing is that he's not in our best 22 atm, nor are either of their rucks, nor Gallop; and I didn't even get to asking about whether Bruce Reville would be getting a starting 22 spot for us. And Starcevic is line ball.

It's worth remembering this. Their top end is ELITE. The reputation is scary. But it drops off spectacularly.
Starcevich line ball!! Please. One of the best defenders in the game. As for Lester - Cameron towelled him a few weeks ago but the two times before that he beat him hands down. He would walk into your side.
