I still think we can hold off or compete with the others. But Brisbane might be a step too far like Richmond 2017-2020. They are better than that side but there is a similar level of imposing dominance when it matters.

We will be competitive we always are the coaching will ensure to that. But brisbane and gc will take over pretty soon we dont have the influx of academy talent (mellor will be good but hes not elite) to compete with that.

Clark got caught out in defence a couple of times but liked his game and humphries and Connor really stood up for young kids they will be good in time.

If Martin was only fit to play a quarter he probably shouldn't have played. Danger and Cameron being anonymous really was a bad time for that. I thought Scott missed a trick not playing blitz on Andrews the neale matchup didnt work. Ultimately we dont have the guns they do in the midfield but our ball use sucked. If we connected in rbe first 10 mins of the 3rd inside 50 we play from in front and its a different game.

Clark got a bit of it but his backline craft looked poor.

Too many today didn't want to get dirty, and too many brought really poor skills to the occasion.

Fagan has taught Scott once again, and once again we lose another GF.

It happens. 4-3 this century is better than 0-4 of '89 to '95.

Being outclassed on grand final day is okay but it does sting to be outworked and fought too.

Still, this is the nature of the competition where 17 sides aren't good enough. We failed to topple an outstanding side like everybody else has the past 2 years

Our worst 2nd half in a long time. I didnt see that coming. Might be the last chance with the older guys gone.
My kingdom for a ruckman Rhys is done. Our inside 50 connection in the 3rd quarter was terrible and that and kicking it to Andrews cost us.

YEp we actually had a bit of momentum in the third but pooed it up with long, hope for the best kicking.
