Moderators will intervene for a couple of reasons.

1. If a thread is threatening to be derailed because of a post.

None of this draws a conclusion as to the accuracy or otherwise of the original post.

There is no need to further speculate. What will be will be.

Also, you need to remember that this thread like all parts of this forum is bound by the rules of poster conduct. If you want to express skepticism towards a rumour that's fine, but having a crack at posters who are contributors to this forum is simply not on and will be acted upon.

Wow. Humphrey would be an unbelievable get. Didn't give anyone a hope with what GCS have said in recent days. And thought if he did go it would be to Dees in Trac deal

That’s sounds like potentially no first rounders this year or very late at least

I think we might end up paying a bit more than that to get what we need. Some may think we're overpaying at the end but if a trade works out it'll ultimately be considered wins across the board.

I can see Newman mirroring Doc somewhat in 2026. A year off, wrong side of 30. Next year will be his last

Unfortunately I see the same thing happening. Doc really should have retired last year. For half of his games this year, he was a couple of yards off the pace of the game and looked well out of sorts. While Newman's injury isn't a third ACL, it is a patella and at least we gave him a year off... instead of doing what we always did... rushed him back early, had him re-injure it, rush him back in the VFL, and had him do it a third time.

With a bit of luck, he comes back in 100% and slays it.

I've never claimed to be an ITK and have always told people that I'm not.

Neither have I. I know a few people/family members around the club and in Football Management. Sometimes I get snippets I pass on. This time of year I try and push for a bit more.
Generally 2nd or 3rd hand. That’s it.
