The Sunday 11th phase of BigFooty's maintenance and upgrade has been completed. Reactions are limited for now. Search is rebuilding. Scheduled Posts are back! Other upgraded features may look/operate slightly different. The styling and colours will change over time.
Yep, trade week winners now for a long, long time.
Deals always look great, until they actually have to play a game together that is.
A great effort, don't get me wrong. Just don't see a midfield of Newcombe, a possibly fit Day, Nash, McKenzie and Ward being able to knock off these sort of groups in a Prelim/Grand Final, where midfield dominance is vital:
Brisbane: McCluggage, Neale, Dunkley, Ashcroft x2
Gold Coast: Rowell, Anderson, Miller, Petracca, Humphrey
Sold.If they change Hustwaite with McKinize then it's a deal

Do we? We just made a prelim without him.
Bombers need to inject talent in ASAP before Tassie comes around the corner.
He'd be nice to have and the cherry on top but I don't think we're giving up anything more than this. We rarely let our offers be made public so the fact that we have seems like it's our final offer to show the public we are trying to negotiate a deal and the only stumbling block is Essendon.
Hence why I said mediate. The AFL aren't stepping in and can't/won't force Essendon to do the deal. They are within their rights to reject anything they want to as he's under contract.
Remember the time you spelt Tsatas name wrong and then edited the post to pretend you didnt know his name?Sold.
Since the Hawks have no such player on their list I am happy for them to accommodate your wish![]()
Wait until we force them to offer even more.
We'll see, I think you might. Not gonna offer more than that.
The only thing the AFL mediate is that the trades are all above board and everything is agreed and at face value to the parties. They then tick off on them so they go through.Hence why I said mediate.
We might indeed. We'll see, I think you might.
That’s why I am pissed off for all Essendon supporters when their new president said “We are about to embark on our greatest era”Dodo would want more steak knives
Essendon will rejectSo things are playing out well for the trade deadline.
Essendon make a statement tonight “as we said, he won’t be traded under any circumstances”.
Hawks make another offer tomorrow.
Essendon accepts at 7:20pm.

They definitely offer mediation, it's happened before. The only thing the AFL mediate is that the trades are all above board and everything is agreed and at face value to the parties. They then tick off on them so they go through.
They don't get involved because one club thinks their offer is a great one and the other club is being mean holding their player to contract.
It’s almost like it’s scripted. So things are playing out well for the trade deadline.
