Seeing it with him I'd probably the easiest thing to see in footy lol he's a bit wild, but unpredictable but he plays front foot pedal to the ground footy and we're trying to play that style next year. We traded **** all for him. Like someone else said not every trade has to be the next piece of the puzzle bloke can make our transition game a little better and be fun to watch as well

My take on this trade is that CJ has some well documented weaknesses (ball handling, physicality, decision making) but he likes playing at the MCG where he can run up and down the wings and he likes playing off half back where he can launch and run hard (he's also useful overhead)

So if you play him off half back all year (it's the only position he can play) and he plays most games at the G he could play some decent footy taking a glass half full approach.

I think he will be a solid pickup. He is going from a team contending for a flag to likely a bottom 4 team, the expectation and pressure will be much lower. We need players like CJ to help keep us competitive whilst we transition the list, I reckon he will be pretty good in that regard.
