Thought I'd shart a thread about the 2026 fixture!

We're in the middle 6, so grouped with Freo, GWS, Swans, Blues, Saints. We'll play at least three of these twice. Not great from a commercial perspective, these clubs.

We are owed a win in Adelaide for Gather Round - hope they put us at Barossa Valley against the Eagles or something. We've been shafted playing Port, Cats, Lions the last three years.

And SURELY we get a home game against Sniff and the GF runner ups this time, surely .....

Would love to see a home MCG game against either Coll or Haw, and keep the Easter Sunday twilight game.

I bloody hope we don’t get you guys twice, you always smash us

- Play Geelong once and it be a home game at Marvel.

- No Darwin…surely we’re due for a Suns game at the Gold Coast (seems like we haven’t played there in ages).

- Also due for a softer gather round opponent and/or not going there off a Perth trip or whatever.

- I’d prefer less night games, especially Thursday’s. Saturday twilight and the early Sunday game are the best imo. Just opens more options pre and post game without getting home too late.

If its 3 games at Ballarat what's the point of having reserve seats at Marvel? Should be less at Ballarat, stadium not even ready or doesn't hold enough anyway.

Is it confirmed that there will be 3 games in Ballarat next year? I read it as an extra game will be squeezed in at some point in the future once works are complete, which I doubt will be next year.

I’d say it’s more likely that there are no games in Ballarat next year.

Fully expecting a "home" game v Cats for Gather Round, an away game at Pork-barrel Park, and a third "home" game v Cats tentatively scheduled for Ballarat, then due to limited capacity at Mars relocated with alacrity to Pork-barrel Park as well... where our members will be generously allocated 23 seats on the roof of one of the stands.

will moan about us wearing a home strip in that third game, and the fact that Cats only control 92% of the prematch activities. We will be allowed to include former Bulldogs "greats" Ken Newland and Stephen Lunn (wearing Cats scarves) as part of the guard of honour as we run out...

That’s the stupid thing though isn’t it. If they let other games grow and promoted them instead of forever making these marquee games against teams who used to be big but haven’t won anything for 25 years just because they draw a crowd (looking at you Carlton, Essendon and to an extent Richmond)

The clubs are their own worst enemy in the chase for the $

Some of the people I play with are pro / semi pro musicians, so Thursday night is gig night for them.
