They desperately wanted no contest on the board. Remember how much effort they put into trying to beat Tredrea for election? God I hate our board. Pack of parasitic losers so afraid of any discourse that they don't expressly approve. Remember that the things said by Koch, Hinkley, Davies etc that have hurt us fans and denigrated us - were made all in agreeance and in endorsement of the board.

They are the faceless real enemies of the entire Hinkley fiasco. Not one has been held accountable for it and now they have less pressure because Hinkley is gone. Don't be distracted. These ****ing idiots will be a handbrake until they get spilled (which we can't do, yay.).

Tredrea was never lasting, ever. The fact he got raked over coals for simply saying "great call" to a fan of our club who was bleeding because of the self inflected pustule that was Hinkley was a sure sign of that.

How dare a board member publicly expect more from the club. What was the big deal? Oh thats right, little cwub david took offense and set his hound Caro onto him. All of this was never about what was said on the podcast. It was always about the egos of the curated pissblasting board and the fact Tredrea agreed with the fans, who are utterly dismissed by the board.

I hate what the club has become because of Koch etc but it's no longer "the enemy of my enemy is my friend"

I'd expect a player to support his father running for the board with 1 social media post. It would be kind of strange for the son not to do it. It wasn't a bombardment of campaigning messages.

I don't think this would be as clear cut as you think.
It's academic now but he has a lot of support out there for his ramblings amongst our supporters.

My understanding is that the club vets all board election nominees and can veto any candidate they don't approve of. How that would look with an incumbent board member is another thing.

This is the really disappointing thing.

Tredrea must have known after Koch's "Warren needs to learn about the Port Adelaide Football Club" comment and the running of Abernathy against him that Koch did not want him on the board.

Instead of pulling his head in and not giving Koch any ammunition to use against him Warren gave Koch plenty of ammunition. Making his sovcit beliefs public was bad enough but amplifying an anti-Semitic nut job on his podcast was a banzai charge.

He did talk about the CIA, and how they supposedly trained the Taliban, and spent more time on that than he did on Israel. It just didnt get reported on. There was far more criticism of the British government than any other country.
