That is elite fielding from Labuschagne. Created that run-out of Connolly through pure will.

WA probably favourites from here. Queensland caught in that awkward position where they need to be aggressive but also make sure they can't lose

Saw bits and pieces of Day 2, doubt QLD set them anything under 4 an over.

With 51 overs left in Day 3, QLD look to go at 5 runs/over given they already have a 96 run lead.

WA and QLD be happy with WA chasing 350 runs with 90 overs tomorrow people?

350 in a day is a huge as I think.

I think ideally, QLD would like a crack at us tonight for half an hour.

Just wondering by jeez WA will maybe be reflecting back on their declaration.

QLD lead by 255 runs with 2 wickets in hand going into the final day but I did think time was still in plenty, what WA would give right now to have those batters to come out and chip away at another 50-75 runs at that target?

I wouldn't be. They're trying to get a result. If they bat another 10-15 overs Queensland are probably 3 or 4 down now and would just need to bat for the draw, anchoring them at the bottom of the table and virtually no chance at the final.

The declaration when it happened was the perfect time. Queensland had a decision to make. If WA get the last two wickets early (say, 2 for 20 off 6 overs), they have 276 to win off 88 overs at a touch over 3 an over.

Right now I think QLD is still in the box seat, especially with runs on the board. WA need to go for the win and QLD know this.

If I were QLD, id try to look to bat as much time as possible today with their 2 remaining wickets, 20 overs at best, possibly 30 if they can. Make WA chase 300 in 60 overs, or they can remain on the bottom of the ladder.

WA have to have a go at it, as a draw doesnt help them in anyway, and its kind of a free hit. Still you take the 50-75 runs to reduce a deficit any day. If your WA, and you don't have the belief to knock over 10 wickets combined in a Day 3/4 in quick time, you probably don't deserve to win.

with the talent in the WA batting lineup I am backing them to chase it down

expecting a big game from inglis today...he is due

I mean, you're allowed to think that but WA is clearly ahead in the game.

Queensland need to win just as much.
