Agree, a lot of games have been very ordinary this year. Also, the AFLW "fixturing" has hugely affected ladder positions given they play so few games.

On the AFLW Show today they said Taylor Smith is being chased by Essendon Sydney and Hawthorn.
She is contracted till end of 2026. Also said the Lions are looking at signing her beyond next season.

Why don't these melbourne based AFLW clubs, say, go and raid a melbourne based AFLW premier (i.e north melbourne) who seem to have plenty of firepower sitting on their ranks. It's idiotic they keep coming after clubs elsewhere.

No mail, but would not be surprised. She is already getting squeezed out. Great size and athletic attributes, but I don’t think she has the game sense to be a top-level player long term.

She feels like a [PLAYERCARD]Jared Brennan[/PLAYERCARD] story. Seemingly unlimited athletic potential and the ability to do things other players can’t do but just couldn’t be a fundamentally consistent contributor.

She feels like a Jared Brennan story. Seemingly unlimited athletic potential and the ability to do things other players can’t do but just couldn’t be a fundamentally consistent contributor.

Seem to recall a number of people on here had concerns about her contribution around the club and her willingness to improve as a player while she was on the list. No surprise to see her get delisted
