I have a set of Cuisenaire Rods at home. I used to love using them at Primary School in the late 60’s, early 70’s.

As a child I had never realised they were supposed to be an aid to counting. I just used them to build buildings or fences etc.

All the 1-size pieces had been absent but as the 4th of 4 children I can hazard a guess as to where they went!
