Maybe the solenoid on the starter motor that has gone in the ute. Ordered a new starter motor. The solenoid was draining too much battery power for it to handle. Hopefully be back up and running sometime tomorrow

My first car, a HK Kingwood, was a doodle to fix, change the oil and even tuning was simple. Did 170,000 miles in that car. Had no rust or dints and I sold it for what I gave for it. Had it for years and when I got another car the family used it as a spare. My sister, was a lawyer for a large city Law firm. She married an Italian and they had Alfas so they were usually off the road and so she used to park it in her company car park along side you can imagine what cars.

Cars have become too complicated.
