Particularly as we play Sydney first up.I think it would be really bad if we lose to Richmond first up....not good at all....the media will go ballistic......
CARLTON
Wesley Walley (Subiaco)
Forward | 182cm | 29/11/2007
Making his way over to Victoria having been through West Coastās Next Generation Academy program, Walley has all the tools to make it as a livewire goalkicking forward. Heās quick off the mark and difficult to contain aerially at 182cm, making him a dynamic threat whichever way the ball enters his area. While inconsistent and scuppered by a shoulder injury this year, Walley is an eye-catcher at his best and was recognised with National Academy selection heading into the season. Thereās plenty of talent to unwrap.
Note: Carlton will also have delisted pair Elijah Hollands and Will White training with its senior group in hopes of earning a lifeline via the SSP.
Cue the Whereās Walley calls![]()

If he gets picked up by the blues and is an absolute star then Iāll attend a match donning Wizard Whitebeardās outfitWhat kind of cruel parent calls their son Wes Walley?
Unless the guy is a top 1% good, he will be a whipping boy wherever he plays football.

That's cool, I respect that but I am pretty certain that 'Where's Wally' was around when Wesley was born.Walley is a pretty well known surname in community in WA. I suspect that the name Wesley has some connection to a family member of another generation.
He's not an SSP, he's a VFL signing we're inviting to train with the senior squad, same as Phillips and Paea.Makes complete sense that all this time we all thought that Elijah Hollands and Will White were the only two SSP candidates training with the club. Wes Walley has been well hidden.

Based off one clip that has no context on what the drill was?Hmm, looks as if Ollie will be a backman again in ā26..
I think his father and grandfather were both named Wes(ley), after West Indian cricketer Wes HallWalley is a pretty well known surname in community in WA. I suspect that the name Wesley has some connection to a family member of another generation.

YepHmm, looks as if Ollie will be a backman again in ā26..
Based on this social media post about the final chance to watch the Blues in 2025, I'm assuming the originally promoted open training session on Friday 5th December has been scratched by the club. Can anyone in the know confirm this is the case?
If I was to guess, they look like they are not using Princes Park for some reason. The other social media post "A hot one today" is clearly out at Latrobe University Bundoora like last preseason. They may well be back out there again on Friday.
