I reckon this-
Mick goes off, we are given hints he's torturing or just checking on the guy. Use this again later with him re-watching his video collection
Cassandra goes in, saves the girl .they take off in the car. Mick comes back

Everything else as normal

What actually happens in the movie in that scene is utter bullshit

It's utter rubbish the girl also stops to watch the videos later on

I remember a bunch of friends turned up to see a movie. They wanted to see Raiders, I thought it sounded lame and voted for ‘Outland’ with Sean Connery.
Luckily I lost the vote….Great movie experience. Spielberg on top of his game.
