So is that 2 cup wins now in the off-season for O'Connor? Nice to see him celebrating the win with another cat in Ireland.

So why do you think the side that wins the first week more often than not loses the rematch??We flogged Brisbane a couple of weeks before the Grand Final ffs

Oh damn, talk about a pre season transformationHear me out … Ollie Dempsey, with all his attributes (goal smarts, running power, incredible leap) being mentored by GAJ… could Ollie end up as a premier mid in our team? View attachment 2492161
Great interview by Gryan, I know he and Worpel are quite close but he's absolutely full of praise for him. Interesting he talked about the gap between the 30 years olds and the young players and bridging that gap.
The syndesmosis would be the big hitter with worpelBecoming a leader already Gryan. Great to hear his thoughts on the younger players too. But Worpel someone to "take the bruises" seems like a bit of a cruel take given the corky that reportedly had to have the blood drained out of it in 25!
Though "someone who we can use to take high ankle sprains" doesn't quite sound right. The syndesmosis would be the big hitter with worpel

I reckon we might see some glimpses this year - but only sparingly and only if some pre season experiments show promise. The alternative of just consolidating his wing position (ie. be at AA level for full year) isn’t bad for his development either and then look to move more midfield from 2027?Surely we can try to develop dempsey into a midfielder around stoppages? Only adds flexibility to his wing and flank spots and move him according to game needs
Picture 2 here is quite the throw back
Good post. I agree it may be 27/28 if at all. Can’t hurt to add it to his bow even if it’s just on a rotational basis.I reckon we might see some glimpses this year - but only sparingly and only if some pre season experiments show promise. I am thinking Ed Richards from Bulldogs. He didn’t move in until year 6 or maybe even 7 and has blossomed. So Ollie might be better being held back to make sure he thrives? Having said that I do think he will surprise people when he does get his chance.
Not a tough bulldog but interesting enough he is one of our best in terms of contested possession %. Over 40% of his possessions are contested which would I think surprise many. Only players who played more than 15 games who had a higher % are the bigs (Stanley, Blitz, SDK, Scratcher) and Danger. So while isn’t a contested beast he is an extractor and could add something different into the mix.
For me it is a 2027 or even 2028 story but something I will watch for signs
Check out the guns on Shannon.

I haven't joined it but started looking at some of the posts from today:
- Bailey Smith joins Collingwood on 4yr deal
- Chris Scott files for divorce
- Max Holmes transforms house into homeless shelter
- Bailey Smith transforms house into homeless shelter
- Corey Enright returns to Geelong as senior coach
Looks like that group is full of scammers with the odd legit post
I haven't seen any mention in any of the groups I'm a member of

Not yet I hopeSo Max Holmes the new captain, is that right?
It's not the first time Scott has made selection blunders in big finals. The GF was a disaster in that regard. Blicavs dominated finals as a ruckman then they bring back Stanley and play Blicavs elsewhere. Crazy. We flogged Brisbane a couple of weeks before the Grand Final ffs
