That sounds about right

He'd also be keeping pretty fit and active with the continued involvement with playing - he's getting some good time at home, but not really taking it easy on his extended break

Also, tell me what are brisbanes weaknesses and then what are our weaknesses??

Brisbane unfortunately match up incredibly well against us, because their biggest strengths happen to be our biggest weakness. It’s like kryptonite to Superman.

There is a reason they have bowled us over 4/5 games

Becoming a leader already Gryan. Great to hear his thoughts on the younger players too. But Worpel someone to "take the bruises" seems like a bit of a cruel take given the corky that reportedly had to have the blood drained out of it in 25!

I reckon we might see some glimpses this year - but only sparingly and only if some pre season experiments show promise. The alternative of just consolidating his wing position (ie. be at AA level for full year) isn’t bad for his development either and then look to move more midfield from 2027?

I am thinking Ed Richards from Bulldogs. He didn’t move in until year 6 or maybe even 7 and has blossomed. So Ollie might be better being held back to make sure he thrives? Having said that I do think he will surprise people when he does get his chance.

Not a tough bulldog but interesting enough he is one of our best in terms of contested possession %. Over 40% of his possessions are contested which would I think surprise many. Only players who played more than 15 games who had a higher % are the bigs (Stanley, Blitz, SDK, Scratcher) and Danger. So while isn’t a contested beast he is an extractor and could add something different into the mix.

For me it is a 2027 or even 2028 story but something I will watch for signs

Good post. I agree it may be 27/28 if at all. Can’t hurt to add it to his bow even if it’s just on a rotational basis.

It's not the first time Scott has made selection blunders in big finals. The GF was a disaster in that regard. Blicavs dominated finals as a ruckman then they bring back Stanley and play Blicavs elsewhere. Crazy.
