Part of what I have just sent to the club about Blue Car Parking in 2026.....
Having used the Blue Car Park for a number of years, I categorically deny that 'large numbers of car parks were empty' for the eight out of nine home games that I attended in 2025. I would love to see the evidence for this statement.
And $30 per game! That is an excessive increase on 2025, and just feels like a rip off over the last few seasons - from $150 to $175 in 2024 (around 17%), $175 to $193 in 2025 (around 10%), and now $193 to $270 in 2026 (about 40%).
From $150 in 2023, to $270 in 2026, that is an 80% increase in four years, for exactly the same service!!!
What a slap in the face for long term, loyal fans, having to buy parking passes in a specific, narrow window separately for each game. For opening round, less than 24 hours notice for a middle-of-the-day purchase window for a game to be played in about 3 months time.
To me, poor and/or unjustified reasoning, excessive price increases, inconvenient, and short notice timing.
