This article focuses on the 'outsourcing to content creators' AFL media strategy (read - all AFL.com.au shows will be produced out of SEN next year) but cutting the AFL digital team imperils the GF doco:

Would imagine they will do one but very confident it won't be close to as good as Pound the Rock was for last year.

I’ve not read the article but hopefully this doesn’t impact fish.

Aside from Dan Does Footy, what other influencers exist.

Frontline presenters/Journos fine. They are just cutting out their own studio staff and the video editors/producers who make the interesting content and outsourcing everything to Hutchy.

We'll see what if he says anything tonight at the Powerhouse event.

Tairy Greene showed plenty of promise that night he “hacked” the official Lions twitter account.

Does anyone have a link of know where I can listen to the 3AW call of the grand final? Can’t find it anywhere, only a highlights one. Have listened to all other calls but this.

Won't let me link the post, but scroll down and there's 3AW somewhere there.

Just FYI the Victory pack bluray has the 3AW call. I’m just mildly disappointed there’s no Fox call with Huddo, and while the SEN call is also on there it’s the AFL national- so the national call that did not include Gerard Whately.

Is this the one you were looking for? Its the Whately and Healy call.

Watched the replay on Fox last night. TY Gallop's hands, vision and decision making in close is outstanding. Produced 3 shots on goal from nothing. Logan Morris likewise.

Cornes stating we got nothing from those 2 is ignorance.

BT was saying the same throughout the coverage

BT was saying that they did nothing (agreeing with Cornes) or BT was saying that Ty and Logan were awesome in hand, eye and brain (agreeing with Sir Bunton)?

Some guy the other day was buying a christmas tree, the salesman asked him, Are you going to put it up yourself? to which the guy replied, No i am going to put it up in the corner

I hope i have not jinxed the Lions for a three peat by changing our usual Melbourne accommodation

My daughter and i have stayed at the same hotel Olovo in South Yarra the last 3 years and always booked early to get a reasonably good rate and free cancellation usually with around 4 days prior notice.

Olovo was just a bit too expensive this time, so we eventually settled on Quest NewQuay Docklands being serviced apartments a short walk to Marvel. A change from a Hotel to Apartments.
We never used the Olovo restaurant or room service. It was a very nice area, but change is good, so they say.

The young ones or frequent travelers on BF probably know this, but i was not aware.
My daughter using her mobile, and me using my PC had two different rates for the same room type.

On my PC: Studio Apartment (cheapest) 2 separate rooms for 2 nights $1028 or $514 PP for 2 nights
Daughter on mobile using booking.com app: Studio Apartment 2 nights $1028 less Mobile phone discount $154 less Genius discount $87 = $787 or $394 PP for 2 nights
Genius is a free loyalty program while using the booking.com app
That's a decent saving using the app over a PC

Quest NewQuay Docklands
No room service or restaurant, so no breakfast in the same building if those two are important.
24 hours check in
Free cancelation with 24 hours' notice. The free cancellation option is dearer per night. Studio $51 PN extra.
No prepayment required, just pay on arrival.
$50 credit card damage deposit
Check in: From 14:00 to 00:00. Check out: From 06:00 to 10:00

For the dates we required being Fri 25 & Sat 26th there were 6 room options.
4 x one bedroom for 2 persons, and 2 x 2-bedroom for 4 persons. Two of the 6 room options only have a few left.
I noticed when looking around at other places on my budget a lot are already booked out for that weekend.

The only thing remaining is for the boys to actually make the GF again and then the dreaded airfares booking
