If you'd given Ange Kudus, Muani, Paulhinha, Simons and a fit VDV and Romero spurs would be higher up the table than they are now, absolutely no doubt in my mind
Spurs went with the safe option, Anges floor and ceiling was always higher but considering there was almost no investment in the first team last year and he was stuck using Werner, Johnson and a cooked son for most of the season with Gray Dragusin and Davies at CB I just didn't understand not wanting to see what the ceiling was. Picking Frank was an admission of being happy to be a 5-10 team and nothing else.

I was listening to Alan Pardew talk about it, while I'm not saying it's a fact because he says it, I'll listen cause he has managed at the highest level. He said 30% on vicario because the pass isn't great and it wasn't perfect. But 70% for Gray because at this level you need to be aware when you're being pressed and if he flicks it around to porro first time spurs progress up the field.
