There's been estimates of over a 1 million people killed because of those conflicts - I highly doubt the majority of the casualties were Al Qaeda and affiliated toss pots. And when you add the casualties with the population of both countries, it's not like everyone rose up against the invasions and likely most of those killed were innocent civilians.

The Australian government under Albo has condemned and stood in opposition of extremism exhibited by the likes of Hamas and the Israeli government.
