Agree with all that but "it never working out" for him to transition into a Milner role is on him. Seems like he's found his (starter) level at Brentford.Nice to see Jordan Henderson score and dedicate his goal to Jota. The impact of losing Diogo is still huge to anyone that played with or knew him.
Henderson has actually been really good for Brentford too. It's a bit of a shame that it never worked out for him to be our James Milner-like figure with the squad till his mid 30s.
Not worried, we own them.hapless spurs up next. They're seriously under the pump. Danger game

The blessing is the fixture isn't very busy over the next few weeks.I didn't watch the Brighton game. Ibou solid again? That bloke finding some sort of consistency could be the biggest thing for us getting back on track. Gomez down again, we need to navigate our way through a busy xmas period with 2 fit cb's, 2 lb's, and 1 rb. Going to be tricky. We'll miss Gakpo for the rotation, not to mention Mo. Our squad will be seriously tested. Hopefully, pray, please that we've gotten the real shit results out of our system and we can properly have a crack at locking down a CL spot, as well as attacking the CL itself this season. Keen to get Frimpong back, I know he's down absolutely nothing with us yet, but he was exciting at Leverkusen. Could provide a spark down the right, hopefully.

It depends on the UEFA coefficient.Does top five qualify for CL this season?
Why is Hugo out? With everyone fit there is no reason that we cant get a result against Spurs.
Knocks to Mac and Dom and Hugo out with Gomez hurts.
And Salah is gone to AFCON
yep charlie adamCharlie Adam?
Was hobbling off when substituted and hobbling after the final whistle. With a full week off he'll hopefully be OK for Spurs. Cross fingers. Why is Hugo out?
I thought Arsenal had opened up a bit more of a gap. City will catch them and win, and ruin another year for Arteta and the “best” team
I so hope that happens. Arsenal fans are getting a bit too chirpy of late.
Top clubs need more than one good striker though.Ekitike making the owners silly for even buying Isak.
One good chance we created and spurned doesnt erase the fact that all season we've barely created anything and cant score goals.Again...Mo does everything perfectly on that counter but then stuffs up the final pass. Efficiency/conversion is a bigger issue than creating good openings jod23
Sure mate. Our efficiency, and Mo's especially, has been way down this season. Last season he'd have an extra 6 goals by now even with his decline in general play. One good chance we created and spurned doesnt erase the fact that all season we've barely created anything and cant score goals.
