I would like to know where the various posters get their information from; for example we get The Age and The Australian delivered every day and read to try and get a balanced view, we listen to both the ABC and 3AW for the same reasons; but I get the impression that most posters here are left wing and believe everything they read or to what they listen. Try and get out a bit more.

I just read the local and national forums on Reddit. Someone usually posts the full text of an article there so no need to subscribe to read.

a) should have been somebody independent
b) This person was particularly biased and terrible

1. Bondi shooter Sajid Akram, came into this country under Liberal PM John Howard;

2. was granted a gun licence under Liberal PM Tony Abbott; and

3. his murderous accomplice son Naveed Akram was investigated by ASIO and cleared under Liberal PM Scott Morrison for having close connection to Isaac El Matari, who was jailed for planning an IS insurgency as the self-declared Australian commander of the ISIS terrorist group.

For the record I don't think any of these former PMs bear any responsibility for the events of the weekend. But they are closer to culpability than anything the current PM and his Cabinet have or didn't do.

And I'm really not fussed by we numpties making BS back and forth claims on a back thread of a footy forum for effect. But it troubles me deeply that this nonsense is getting traction from people calling themselves journalists on once revered mastheads.
