I think his days are numbered now.
Well he was voted back in in May. Unless his own party knife him he's not getting voted out until 2028.

Interesting that you equate the two. Personally I don't see how a minor financial / technical error equates to loss of lives of 16 people. My wife was a victim of robodebt, I can guarantee you I am grateful she suffered that government failure and not the one on the weekend. I guess you just don't value Australian lives or safety as much as you do tax office demands?when playing rank opportunistic games be very sure the $hit in ya own cupboard doesnt completely undermine your argument

No, in this situation we come together and the opposition leaves petty politicking out of it, but this current iteration is too self-serving for that. Sniping from the shadows is all they're good for.

Yep.The ALP has consistently spoken out against anti-Semitism. What the Liberal Party want is for Labor to take back its comments opposing genocide and war crimes in Palestine, and to back Netanyahu completely. Their definition of anti-Semitism is anti-Israel and that's no more true than opposing Donald Trump's vile government is anti-Christian. It is possible for the government to oppose anti-Semitism and oppose the killing of 70,000 mostly women and children, journalists and doctors, as well as blockades that lead to starvation.
Benjamin Netanyahu is a corrupt war criminal, I say that not because he's Jewish but because he's a campaigner.
In a situation like this the correct move currently would be to shut the **** up quite frankly. No, that's a massive cop out. The government's job is to govern, the opposition's job is to hold them to account. The opposition are a joke and no one genuinely expects the current leader to be there for the next election but the government don't get a free pass. By all means criticise the Coalition response, but what exactly should they be supporting?
They could be supporting the notion of national unity in the face of a terrorist attack, and not making this a political issue. Well at least not at this point in time. That will get us nowhere and just have us arguing with each other in a partisan fashion, which is exactly what we're doing. No, that's a massive cop out. How many a a result of domestic terrorism?idiot
but for the sake of engagement - people lost their lives as a result of robodebt ..... maybe you dont value australian lives
And deservedly the liberals lost government. Should Labor lose government for not protecting its citizens’ lives either?idiot

They all got their knickers in a bunch because Albanese rightly condemned the behaviour of Israel and they ridiculously view condemnation of Israel as antisemitism and why someone would go out and shoot a bunch of people.
Australia condemns the terror and brutality of Hamas

read the entire exchange [including similar comments on other threads across the SRP over the last 12/24 hours]are you actually comparing robodebt to islamic terrorists who murdered people in cold blood
disgusting
read the entire exchange [including similar comments on other threads across the SRP over the last 12/24 hours]
then take your performative RWNJ outrage and shove it
Sorry yes officially condemn no.When did this happen? Aren't all the blue-haireds jumping up and down because Albo won't condemn Israel?
Statement on the situation in Gaza
The situation in Gaza has gone beyond the world’s worst fears. The position of the Australian Government is clear: every innocent life matters.Every Israeli. Every Palestinian. This conflict has stolen far too many innocent lives.Tens of thousands of civilians are dead, children are starving.Gaza...www.pm.gov.au
Each-way-Albo has been trying to appease everyone for two years. The statement linked above is nothingness that amounts to "we would prefer it if you weren't at war because war is bad but also we aren't going to stop sending you arms and btw we condemn who you are actually at war with but not you". Yep, strong stuff. Between the Jewish community, the actual Palestinian community and the angry mob - who exactly is happy with Albo on this issue?
Albo's recognition of a Palestinian state was political opportunism. The footage of Senator Chandler from Tasmania questioning the basis behind the decision in the Senate was excruciating, total amateur hour for the official position of the nation to be "We recognise a state, but not until it has borders and a government and some other things. But also we condemn the group governing one of the two territories of said state also.".
Who our PM does and doesn't condemn is a matter of foreign policy. Do you think the families of the victims from the Bondi attack care who was condemned and who wasn't? The Jewish community in Australia has been saying for months if not years now they do not feel safe in Australia. Anyone who thinks Albo has been 'tough on antisemitism' is deluded. I've been alive 40 years and I've never seen large scale protests of people yelling anti-Jewish slogans, local councils displaying Palestinian flags or 'globalise the intifada' murals until recently.
What specific things do you want the government to do about anti-semitism that haven't already done? When did this happen? Aren't all the blue-haireds jumping up and down because Albo won't condemn Israel?

Suggest you read up on the history of antisemitism.Sorry yes officially condemn no.
But he has criticised several things Israel has caused.
The right wingers and Zionists are mad that Albo would dare to recognise a Palestinian state.
I don’t know what the Bondi victim families think. But there sure are a lot of prominent Jewish voices and right wingers just saying a whole lot of nothing when it comes to Albanese.
Okay not tough enough on anti semitism. You seriously think a couple of statements from him change these nutters minds?
Reality is there wasn’t such criticism and yes some anti semitism ever before because Gaza was never really this prominent in people’s minds.
It’s the same in other countries. But yes must all be Albanese’s fault.
Funny how when things happened under Abbott’s reign for example it wasn’t his fault. Now why is that?
The existing gun laws were kind of strict, as far as the type of gun and where you were permitted to use it, and also the compulsory use of it in that context.Don’t worry Albo is only allowing the Islamic terrorists 3 guns each.. this will stop the religious nut jobs
idiot
