The team that one the last game each year got a cup
Incorrect
Carlton beat Collingwood on New Year’s Eve in 1999 dubbed the millennium match
Fevola kicked a bag. They didn’t get anything

So many weird numbers/coincidences it felt like destiny.

We've now won flags in years following a sequence, 1992, 1994, 2006, 2018 (2, 4, 6, 8). GFs every 12th year since 94. 3 years after losing to Hawthorn. Playing Collingwood in the QF and Melbourne in the PF as in 94. Melbourne last making finals in 2006. Half time margin same as 94 apparently. Pies lead by 5 goals then we come back. 3 quarter time score was 55-55. Pies lose GF by 5, as they did in 1918. A couple of weird personal things that happened to me pre game, the banner breaking. I'm not overly superstitious but it's all a bit weird haha.

Another coincidence

Mike Brady wrote “Up There Cazaly” in 1979. Pies vs Blues in GF. Pies lost GF by 5 pts

Mike Brady performed “Up There Cazaly” in 2018. Pies vs WCE in GF. Pies lost GF by 5 pts

Also on the same date, September 29.

Fairly certain he performs at the granny every year

This round is like round 5 2014, Easter Round

Brisbane lost their Thursday Night home game
The Pies won
Saints won
WCE lost at home to Port Adelaide playing at Night
Carlton beat the Bulldogs after starting 0-4 on the Sunday
Adelaide had a big win at home on the sunday against one of the new teams { GWS )
Freo won
Cats were near the top of the ladder
And that Cats defeat the Hawks on the Easter monday to go top like in 2014^^^^^^

When the VFL expanded from 8 teams to 10 teams in 1908 - Richmond was the first ever team to finish 9th
When the AFL expanded the finals series to 8 teams in 1994 - Richmond was the first ever team to finish 9th
In the final 8 era of 1994-2025 - Richmond has had the most 9th placed finishes with 6. The next most by anyone is Hawthorn with 4
If you look at the finishing position of every club in their history - Richmond have 5 positions (1, 2, 4, 5, 8) which they have tallied 9. The rest of the league have 10 combined. (Geelong, Hawthorn, Melbourne and Western Bulldogs tied for 2nd with 2)
If you look at a list of airports in the world by lowest altitude the closest airport to Alberton Oval (Adelaide Airport) is =119th

Why is it called Adelaide Airport and not Port Adelaide Airport then?
