I'm enjoying the novelty of it at this stage I'm sure it won't last.
TDU, the Fringe and the supercars will probably drive you batty

What does this do? Give me the low down. I've been wanting to try it but just haven't had the motivation yet.
The aim is to limit snacking in the evenings. No food for me after 7pm, until the first meal of the next day at 11am.

For me, if I was eating more frequently it would likely be sugary shit. When I'm not eating that, my body doesn't have sugar energy to burn and focuses more on stored fat. If my diet was better, I'd likely lose weight. For those 8 hours I tend to eat whatever I want.

Having all your food from before 7pm properly digested at bed time makes sleeping more restful in my experience.

My dad just passed

He's been in hospital in Adelaide for a few weeks and they did everything they could, the doctors rang on Christmas and said there's nothing more to do and they'll get him stable to fly back to town for the what time he had left. He never made it back home.

This sucks.

I don't want to pity party but he said to us all don't come down, stay home and keep living, I'll let you know what happens. I won't be very talkative anyway. Then he couldn't really talk anyway. Then he says they're sending me home now, I don't have long left. Stay home and I'll see you all when I get back.

Aside from my uncle and some old friends he was alone. He didn't deserve that. He really didn't deserve it.

I got to talk to him at least on the phone, but he was hard to understand. It was hard for him to talk. I told him I loved him and he's a good dad. I knew perhaps I couldn't wait for him to get home. At least I got over my unemotional upbringing to say it, and he said it back. First time for everything I guess. Better late than never. There's so much more I wanted to say, but if nothing else I know I said that, and more importantly, he heard it.

Condolences Edgie.

It’s never a good time when these things happen but this time of year makes it worse.
You will always have fond memories of your Dad nothing will ever take that away from you.
Deepest condolences
