What a dirty campaigner [PLAYERCARD]Lachie Neale[/PLAYERCARD] is.
Kerb-crawling in Vegas and pounding mormons behind his poor wife's back. Disgusting.

or he'd retire to make it work. If he's serious about getting his family back, it'd be a no brainer

I dont see either of the Perth teams taking him so realistically that would be his only option in that scenario.

what do I think??

lol, no idea of the personal situation

it seems like some on bigfooty want Lachie to leave Brisbane though

You seem to throw a lot of laugh emoji on posts talking about Neale potentially moving to Perth. Clearly you have an opinion but seems too defensive to even discuss it for some reason.

Neale going to Perth is a likely option depending on how this unfolds. His contract ends in 2026 and he'll be a free agent - easy move if he wants to go.

I cannot speak for Lachie. but this is my take if I was Lachie.

have kids, one chick , other chick, both in Brisbane, other fish in the sea.

One thing to bring routine and some stability is playing footy, aka at the Lions(less disruption/reduces interference)

from there the personal side, see what happens, who misses who, how are the kids going, who else arrives, life goes on

Did you know the Mormons founded the first permanent settlement at Las Vegas?

Surely this can't be coincidence!!!

He won't be going anyway. He will play for the Lions in 2026.

Yep. He'll play for us in 2026 - QLD will be perfect to keep a low profile for him.
My posts were in reference to what happens at end of 2026 though.

lol, i am just your average AFL follower

what stuns me is talk Lachie going to WA.

if anything the circumstances lend to be stay at Lions I would have thought

lot of things going on in Brisbane, what else is going to change???

he came from a WA club, and Jules from there. Any other connections?

Queensland doesn't seem to be helping him with that low profile atm.

What's stunning about it? Daughter is 4 and son has just turned 1 - no brainer wanting to be around them and spend time with them.

It'll be a win for us if he stays as he'll be 33 and best value in the next 2-3 years while not taking top dollar in salary cap. But if he chose to go, that's fair enough too considering his circumstances.

Off-season and no other news to share around.

Once new year rolls over, he'll be long forgotten and news cycle will move on.

my take is Marshall, Annable, two Ashcrofts some( on bigfooty) want Lachie outa there

This case is actually a solid example of why a PRE-SEASON trade period could work.

I considered the concept after the Zach Merrett trade fell through in October. If he'd done pre-season until the beginning of February and thought 'I tried, but I can't mentally do this at Essendon again', a secondary trade window would at least open up some options.

The mid-season concept is horrible, and I hope it never sees the light of day. At least actioning the movement before a ball is kicked doesn't result in a player playing for 2 different teams in the same season, which is the idea I can't get behind.

Finally you're taking a stand on what your opinion is on this one. Good to see.

Pure speculation. They could very well have a prenup with both having assets prior to getting together. He bought the million dollar place in North Coogee before he was with Jules. She had a hair studio. They ended up selling up about a year after they moved to Brisbane.
I don't think prenups are enforceable in Australia. Or certainly are not enforceable on their face, they may take something in the prenup into account in determining the distributions in line with Australian family law policy in the same way they'd take into account a person's actions, or contributions etc, but I don't believe prenups as a whole are simply enforced in Aus. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Regarding Jules...how important is it for a woman that their man remain faithful vs. a rich opulent lifestyle for the rest of her life. Is it different for women?
When you can take half or more of your husbands' wealth and get childcare payments for decades, why not have both? Leave you husband and live a rich opulent lifestyle.

A judge in Australia can ignore a prenup.

Pre season trade period for cheating husbands and mentally unhealthy players, sounds like a winner:think:

Bit of respect mate raising two kids isn't easy unless you're one of those uber-rich campaigners that outsource parenting.

Anyway Jules took Lachie back after he was out with prostitutes in Vegas, but plowing the best mate, come on. No woman wants that. He shoulda just kept it to the massage joints and interstate parlous.
