The most mental thing about the JHF trade was that he was still contracted, you should’ve just told him to suck it up for another year and back yourselves in. You should be angry at your club, not ours.

Yeah, they should have stood strong like Port did with Dan Houston. You don't want other clubs thinking you can be walked all over at the trade table. Honestly given how much of a shit show Port's been at trading the last decade, players both in and out, to not have payed 4 first round drafts, plus Butters, is a minor miracle.

More about the fact that his a professional athlete, I just don’t like him, shouldn’t be a huge deal to you, a lot of players in the afl are disliked, he is one of them.

He's also a guy that's living his best life playing one of the biggest sports in this country. I mean Boomer Harvey wasn't overly popular either but he was a brilliant footballer.

And the thing is mate, we all grow but I guess you've dehumanized him because he's an elite athlete. Isaac Heeney grew into his leadership position. Do you think he was as mature as he is when he was younger. These are kids that are going to make dumb decisions, and they're going to be better humans by being in the position they're in.

You talk about money but you also don't talk about the harassment these players receive on a daily basis, both in public and on social media.
