I reduced that down to a short list of 40 and tracked how both my submitted list and "last cut" went over the next 12 months - I can't remember if I had 1 or 2 die from my submitted list (like it wasn't many), while like 5 or 6 from my last cut died

Saw actor Tim Robertson had died at age 81. I thought he was great in The Big Steal in 1990, playing Joanna's (Claudia Karvan) strict and overbearing father, terrorizing her boyfriend Danny (Ben Mendelsohn). Interestingly he and Ben Mendelsohn had played father and son in another classic Australian film 'The Year My Voice Broke' three years earlier in 1987.

Can't believe he was in Chances, although IIRC when Chances was first released in 1991 it was envisaged more as a straight drama series before - um - becoming what it became so to speak.
