And it's being done by Republican judges as much as Democrat ones. Trump cannot replace competent judges with sycophants the way he could replace government officials.

Remember, government lawyers are required (at least in Australia), to be model litigants, or, if they uncover facts their opponents don't know about, that show the government case is wrong, they are required to tell them and/or abandon the case, they are not supposed to be win at all cost lawyers.

I don't get this. Trump has just admitted to taking yet another cognition test -- he "aced" it as usual, because he's in astonishingly good health -- as well as being fitter than Usain Bolt, stronger than Hercules, smarter than Stephen Hawking and much, much better looking than George Clooney.
Why does he keep admitting that he's being administered cognition tests? It could only mean that someone, or some people, think there's a need to count his marbles regularly, which surely isn't the look he wants.
Also, we all know he could put a cement bag over his head and a feather up his fundament, then run naked through the Capitol squirting a water pistol... no-one would think he's any less suitable to be president than they do now. What's the explanation?
