The Qoalas Qricket Club are at home for the first time this season and are hosting the Western Stars at Outback Stadium.

PLAYERS TO WATCH

QOALAS:
hotchilli - top 5 in the league for runs in the Test arena, hc has started the season fantastically in the middle order for the Qoalas.
Barrybran - right alongside hotchilli in the top 5 of Test runs, the middle order run machine has notched two hundreds already.

STARS:
DERRINALPHIL - four knocks, three hundreds, twice scored over 150 in an innings, this man loves nothing more than making runs.
Elton Johns Wig - the stand in captain in the absence of BigChippa52, EJW has done a fantastic job of winning the toss in the early season.

Robertio doesn't like heights so I'm guessing they're more your kindy making shapes out of play dough kind of stars The Half Back

Are the Western Stars anything like the Melbourne Stars?
We'll find out soon enough

Just imagine if our last pairing put on a 100 run partnership for the 10th wicket to win the match - that will answer the question

We’re playing the Qoalas?

Thought I’d do a little research on this team, to find out how much time they have to play this fine game of Qicket,
instead of sitting on their Bums Gums all day?
IMG_6872.gif

This is what I discovered….

Qoala Poop (Scat is what they’ll do halfway through an innings)
Qoala droppings, known as scats or pellets, are distinctive and an easy way to track their presence in the wild.
  • Appearance: They are small, green-brown, fibrous, and bullet-shaped, about 20mm long and as thick as a pencil.
  • Volume: A single Qoala can produce between 150 and 250 pellets daily. (No wonder they sit on their bums all day)
If they Scat for that long during a game, I hope the pitch is being prepared by the MCG Qurator, otherwise it could be a 5 week game. 😱

I'm tipping a 5 week game mate, now imagine spending 5 weeks with Dingster

I will score one run for every pellet dropped.
