This is a kind of magical thinking. In the real world, there are advantages and disadvantages and you can ignore them if you want but it doesn’t make them any less real.

Is there any kind of disadvantage you are prepared to acknowledge the existence of? What if TT, Dawson, Rankine, Worrell, Murray and Butts all were missing through injury? What if we were playing Geelong at the Cattery off a two day break?

So you want me to state we will likely lose if all our star players are injured and we play Geelong at the cattery off a 2 day break...sure.

The days between games are rubbish. Every club has short and long breaks. Who cares. If we can't win those games or play really well in those games, history tells you we don't need to go buying a gf ticket. How about you go back through our best years where we lost just a Handful of games and see how many games off our 5 and 6 day breaks did we win, how many of those did we just play shit?. Then check Brisbane and Collingwood's, Geelong's, Hawks and Richmond's.

At the end of the day there are 4 sticks at both ends of the field 23 players on each team and grass in the middle.

There are embedded and situational disadvantages. Some are unique ie never playing a home GF and some are common, like short breaks and travelling to warm environments. End result though is that it’s the club’s job to make decisions that don’t make their task any harder than it already is. SA and WA clubs have the greatest inherent disadvantage, which is why we need to be better in near all aspects than our east coast competitors.

this!

Injuries aside, good clubs ensure they plan adequately and ensure the players are recovered. But again, every club will at some stage have short breaks between games. Even Collingwood has just a 5 day break after the anzac day game this year to play thursday night against the Hawks. Funnily enough we also play on a saturday and have a 5 day break against the hawks.

I hope the cucks and apologists can accept when things aren’t good

I hope the realists can be justified in their beliefs

I hope for a strong arm of moderation that has a zero tolerance toward [PLAYERCARD]Eric Hipwood[/PLAYERCARD] slander

But most of all a flag. That’d be nice. Just once before I die prematurely (not an Alex joke)
